Every process drills to its own section of 6.0 Rendering, the process spec. 3.0 Visual Standards is the separate question of what the drawn output must look like. Nothing here calculates a yield. Every figure drawn is produced upstream and passed in; a view showing a figure no other process produced is a defect in this stage. 3.7.2 decides what is visible before anything is drawn. Its axis clipping moves the axis and never removes a security, so a table figure can fall outside what the chart shows.
